Dato’ Lawrence Lee Cheow Hock, 70, a Singaporean, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad. He was appointed to the Board on 1 March 2018.
Dato’ Lawrence Lee was the Managing Director of Sime Darby’s Motors Division before retiring on 28 February 2018.
Dato’ Lawrence Lee has served the Group in various capacities for 36 years. In the decade prior to his retirement, he oversaw the development and growth of the Motors Division in Malaysia and overseas and expanded the Division’s portfolio to include additional brands and markets.
Dato’ Lawrence Lee is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
