Puan Rose has over 26 years of strategic and operational human resources (HR) experience in both local and multinational companies across diverse sectors such as banking, insurance, semiconductors, FMCG, and consultancy.

Before joining Sime Darby Berhad, Puan Rose was the Director of Human Capital & Communications at Danajamin Nasional Berhad, where she provided strategic HR advice to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. Prior to that, she was the Head of Human Resources at Hong Leong Bank Berhad, overseeing strategic human capital, talent acquisition and management, rewards and performance management, industrial relations, and HR analytics.

Throughout her career, Puan Rose has held various senior HR positions, including Director of Human Resources at CIMB Aviva Assurance Berhad, Chief Human Resources Officer at Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad, Head of Rewards & Benefits Administration at Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad, and Vice President of Compensation and Benefits at Citibank Berhad.

Puan Rose began her career at Price Waterhouse Associates, later moving to Nestle (M) Sdn Bhd, and then to Texas Instruments Malaysia, a leading semiconductor company.

Puan Rose holds a Bachelor of Economics degree with a major in Analytical Economics from the University of Malaya.
