Junaidah Abdul Rahim, Female, 47, a Malaysian, is the Group Secretary of Sime Darby Berhad. She oversees the company secretarial function for the Group.
A legal professional by training, Junaidah has over 25 years of experience in the corporate and financial sectors. Prior to joining Sime Darby Berhad, she held executive leadership roles in ERS Energy Sdn Bhd, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad and Danajamin Nasional Berhad.
Before taking on in-house legal and governance roles, she was a Partner with Albar & Partners, practising in the areas of corporate and banking & finance, with a focus on capital markets and corporate finance transactions.
Junaidah holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, from Bond University, Australia. Junaidah has been admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the High Court of Malaya and as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia. She is a member of the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries.
