Tan Sri Samsudin Osman

Tan Sri Samsudin served as Chairman of the Employees Provident Fund Board and its Investment Panel from 2007 to 2020. He was also Chairman of Universiti Utara Malaysia from 2006 to 2016, the National Unity Consultative Council from 2013 to 2015, and Perbadanan Putrajaya from 2004 to July 2012. Additionally, he was Chief Secretary to the Malaysian Government from 2001 to 2006 and served as Secretary General for the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs in 1994 and the Ministry of Home Affairs in 1996.

Currently, Tan Sri Samsudin is the President of Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia and the Pro Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mahathir Science Award Foundation until his resignation in June 2022. He also served as a member of the Special Independent Emergency Committee from 9 February 2021 to 1 August 2021 and the Royal Commission of Inquiry from 20 January 2022 to 19 July 2022.

Tan Sri Samsudin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree and a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Malaya, as well as a Master in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University, USA.
